INTERVIEW: Sarah Orecchia, Founder of UnBEElievable Health

INTERVIEW: Sarah Orecchia, Founder of UnBEElievable Health

I love learning about a brand on a mission to positively impact people’s wellbeing. And of course, behind every success story, there is always a dedicated founder who has put in tireless hours (and days, and months, and year) to deliver the best possible outcome for their products. Introducing Sarah Orecchia from UnBEElievable Health, who developed a range of nutritionist approved supplements and natural remedies to help you feel good when you need it most. I distinctively remember my first acknowledgement of bee pollen becoming a ‘superfood’ we can now accessibly consume. In fact, I actually heard it from the one and only Vicky B. Her tweet raving about how ‘tOtAlLy ObSeSeD’ she has become with this funky looking substance even hit the headlines – and since then it’s only gone on to grow in popularity. But it turns out that bee pollen isn’t just a sprinkle decoration that adds a pop of colour to your smoothie – but a generous dose of amino acids and B-vitamins to promote boosted energy levels.  So, what is in the UnBEElievable Health formulas exactly? As well as the obvious bee propolis, they also include the highest quality natural ingredients such as olive leaf, matcha, […]

One Pan Black Bean & Coconut Curry

One Pan Black Bean & Coconut Curry

Fancy a budget-friendly meal that isn’t cheese on toast? Here’s a one pan, throw whatever-you-have-in-the-fridge concoction that might just meet your comfort food criteria. It’s brimming with flavour, makes plenty a portion and the leftovers are bloody delicious. I had a bowlful for breakfast. The moment felt very live laugh love indeed.

This vegan curry is not spicy (although feel free to add in some chilli if you like a kick) as much as creamy, sweet and ridiculously moreish. I can recommend serving generously with rice and your favourite sides to secure a whole table of contended campers – meat eaters and plant-advocates alike.

INTERVIEW: George Craig, Singer & Cookbook Author

INTERVIEW: George Craig, Singer & Cookbook Author

Funny. You never know where your career path will take you. And given that we live in a world where entrepreneurial spirit is at its absolute highest, there are more exciting work opportunities to grab than ever before. Take today’s interviewee George Craig, for example. You may recognise George as the Burberry model and lead singer from indie band ‘One Night Only’, who topped the charts with singles ‘You & Me’ and ‘Just for Tonight’ back in 2008. In fact, I vividly remember my 13 year old self blaring out those exact songs through my pink iPad nano; skinny jeans and wonky eyeliner in tact to create the ‘indie sleaze’ effect. Ahem, I digress.. Having transitioned from a front man living life on the road to an up and coming recipe developer with a real appreciation for cooking, George and his friend Terry Edwards (also a trained chef) are now the proud authors of their first recipe book, Feeding Friends. And it doesn’t stop there. If you’re a Londoner with a love for innovative food in a relaxed atmosphere, their new ‘Check On’ pop-up events and catering business may be exactly what you’re looking for. The classic British dishes that […]
